Still, I and the Trio have a positive outlook on the future.  Last night, we got a brand new song, "Count Me In," ready to be unleashed onto the world.  In fact, there's a bunch of hot new material stirring in the cauldron.  Soon enough, we hope it will be in your ears.  And in this day and age when everybody and their uncle Selvie's are being bailed out, we here at timstop.com will continue to provide our album for free.  In fact, our latest plan is to record a series of acoustic videos to be released on youtube.com for your viewing satisfaction, obviously free of charge.

So even as your team keeps losing, and as your breath becomes more visible, rest assured that The Trio and I have your best intentions at heart, and we want to tell you that things will be alright.  Live everyday with passion, and we will see you soon.

Don't Stop Believing

The crowd last night was freak nasty.  If you were there, I love you.  If you weren't there, there's still a chance I love you, but I can't say for certain at this point.   For a fleeting moment in time, everyone in that bar was Steve Perry.  It is was beautiful.

Due to burst pipes, Bad Dog Tavern will not be open tonight the 15th and thus there will not be a concert.   We are currently working to find another place to hold the concert.  Check back for any updates.   If we find a replacement venue, we will post in on timstop.com.  Again, we apologize and hope you have a great weekend.  

Thankfully, they have a remedy in Hinsdale, IL.  I've been fortunate enough to be able to play a small restaurant/boutique in downtown Hinsdale called Embrace.   It's a cozy, welcoming little spot in the middle of the town, and although it might not appear to be the kind of place you'd find live music at first glance, it's actually set up perfectly for it.  The sound in the room is clear and warm.  In fact, once upon a time, before "Embrace" came to be, the room was used a theatre, which explains the unusually fine sound.   It has a laid back feel, which is conducive to my kind of acoustic music, but they never mind getting the party going a little bit.  

Last night, I got another chance to play there, and it didn't disappoint.
