Tim Stopulos

The rarest of rare happened at Lucky's Thursday. I actually sang a song. Purple Haze by Hendrix. This occurrence is like the passing of Haley's comet...Once every 75 years.

The funny thing is, I don't really know the words. The only part I hit was the "'Scuze me while I kiss the sky!" But the crowd Thursday night was so awesome that they bailed me out with the rest of the lyrics. There even was a point later on when Tim didn't even have to sing an entire chorus because our Lucky's crowd took over. Pretty hot.

As you may recall, we made a promise to ourselves to not do doubles anymore. Well we have a hard time turning down gigs, so Starting Line and Bar Louie wanted us, they got us.

Both shows were fun. New friends and old friends were in attendance in both places. I was dying on the long drive home from Davenport to Chicago as usual...oh I just remembered! I sang again at Bar Louie. Meaghan and I did a duet for Free Fallin'. Wow. The planets must be aligned or something.
