The BIG Announcement
It's possible that we are blowing this out of proportion, but we have no problem calling it a BIG announcement since big (capitalized or not) is a relative term. And compared to many other things about which we've blogged (Snuggies, Cribs, Google Analytics, etc.), this will seem monumental. Without further ado about nothing:
The Tim Stop Trio is going into the studio this month!
On the weekend of March 14 and 15, we plan to record new material! So for all of you who have listened to 'The Long Drive Home' exclusively for the last year, get ready to finally hear something different. We've been playing these new songs for months and months here in Chicago, and it's time to put some of these fresh joints down. Thanks to Jason Ellis for providing us the studio time and engineering the recording.
We think we know which songs we want to record, but if there's something new you've heard us play that you especially want recorded, let us know and we'll see what we can do.
We hope to stream the new songs on http://www.timstoptrio.com and http://www.myspace.com/timstoptrio, as well as make them available for download on iTunes.
Lastly, to all you 'Long Drive Home' fans, the video for 'Wait It Out' is almost ready, so get ready for the biggest Music Video Launch Party since the release of 'I Wanna Be Bad' by Willa Ford.
