Determined to redeem himself from Johnny Silverscreen and the Worst Concert of All-Time, Justin, along with Tim, Seville and Michael, played three consecutive shows for the second week of December. Short-profiles of all three:

Crowd: Small
Rock Level: High, despite Tim fighting the flu, a la Michael Jordan.
Instrumentation: Full Band
Two Words to Sum Up the Night: Symphonic Precision
Date: Friday, December 12 - Embrace (Hinsdale, IL)
Time: 6:30 - 9:30
Crowd: Respectable
Rock Level: A crescendo of energy, but tastefully subdued on a whole.
Instrumentation: Solo first set, then trio second set. Cajon, Keyboard, Acoustic Guitar, Vocals.
Two Words to Sum Up the Night: Decadent Sophistication
Date: Saturday, December 13 - Lucky's (Chicago, IL)
Time: 10:30 - 1:30
Crowd: Freaky; nasty.
Rock Level: An unabashed tune-slam, aided by free-flowing spirits.

Suffice to say, Justin's back in the game. Thanks to everyone who came out, and to James Dudas for performing a Tenacious D medley at Lucky's.
