I feel like I must blog to clear up something that has been the point of much ado since it was posted a few days back.  In "When you're in Dixon", I mentioned that the service in Davenport, IA left something to be desired.  It appears that this comment has been misconstrued in a variety of ways, and I would be remiss if I didn't attempt to set things straight.  Let me first say that in fact the service in question was a lunch experience gone bad at a restaurant which will remain nameless.  Nothing more.  In no way does it refer to the Redstone Room, which treated us, as always, incredibly well.  We had a fantastic time at the Redstone Room and would highly recommend it to both listeners and performers alike.  Also, the service does not refer to the hospitality shown us by our hosts, who were outstanding as well.  Unfortunately, in my previous post, I left the nature of service ambiguous and I do apologize for any confusion that may have caused.  It was off-the-cuff and trivial and should have gone without mention.
