Tim Stopulos

It was a rainy Friday night in Chicago on October 24, and certainly many Chicagoans decided that maybe it was a good night to watch a movie or start reading one of the books on their classics list, like Great Expectations or something. Although we do encourage all our readers to culture themselves with fine literature, we applaud those who mustered the courage to brave the weather and see what the city had in store. More specifically, we thank those who for whatever reason made their way to Cubby Bear. There, Tim Stopulos & The Trio played a short, high energy set for their 2nd show as a band. It was the Chicago debut of Michael Tahlier, The Trio's new guitarist, and he didn't disappoint. Those in attendance will recall Michael's dazzling, soulful solo that brought the one cover of the night, Stevie Wonder's "As", to an incredible end. The finale was an unbelievable performance of Pride and Prejudice.
